Το Tales From The Crypt ήταν μια πετυχημένη αμερικάνικη σειρά που προβαλλόταν από το 1989 έως το 1996 στο γνωστό κανάλι HBO. Βασισμένο στo ομώνυμο κόμικ του 1950 όπως και άλλων τεσσάρων (Haunt of Fear, Vault of Horror, Crime SuspenStories και Shock SuspenStories) είχε αυτοτελή επεισόδια με θέμα πάντα κάποια τρομακτική ιστορία που παρουσιαζόταν από τον Φύλακα Της Κρύπτης.


Ήταν από τις λίγες σειρές που είχαν ελευθερία λογοκρισίας επειδή προβάλλονταν σε καλωδιακό σταθμό. Για αυτό τον λόγο είχε σκηνές γυμνού, σεξ, βίας, πράγμα ξεχωριστό για την εποχή. Ενώ η σειρά ξεκίνησε την παραγωγή της στην Αμερική η τελική της σεζόν μεταφέρθηκε στην Αγγλία και η εξέλιξη των επεισοδίων περιστρεφόταν γύρω από Βρετανούς χαρακτήρες.
