ΥΠΟΘΕΣΗ:
Η ανακάλυψη ενός εξωγήινου σκάφους κοντά σε ερευνητικές εγκαταστάσεις στην παγωμένη Ανταρκτική προκαλεί συγκρούσεις στα μέλη ομάδας ερευνητών που διαμένουν εκεί. Με μοναδικά (σχετικά) αναγνωρίσιμα ονόματα στο cast αυτό της Mary Elizabeth Winstead κι εκείνο του Ulrich Thomsen, ο πρωτοεμφανιζόμενος Matthjis Van Heijningen Jr. γύρισε ένα prequel στο εμβληματικό horror του John Carpenter που με τη σειρά του ήταν remake ενός εξαίρετου b-movie του Howard Hawks.
