Το "Μόνον Αίμα" είναι η ταινία σύστασης των θρυλικών αδερφών Coen. Μια χαμηλού budget παραγωγή, που φέρει την ατμοσφαιρική σφραγίδα των δημιουργών. Οι οποίοι αποδεικνύουν πως είναι το μεράκι, η ικανότητα, και όχι το χρήμα που κάνει μια ταινία μεγάλη. Όλοι οι ηθοποιοί είναι β' διαλογής. Με προϋπηρεσία που εξαντλείται στα τηλεοπτικά. Ενώ εδώ θα δούμε και το ντεμπούτο της Frances McDormand, της κυρίας που έμελλε να ανελιχθεί ως μία από τις σημαντικότερες Αμερικάνες ερμηνεύτριες της εποχής της, αλλά και χρόνια συνεργάτης των αδερφών Coen.
