Από τον πλανήτη Άσγκαρντ ετοιμαστείτε για μια κατακόρυφη βουτιά στον πλανήτη Γη. Ο Θορ, ο… βροντερά δυνατός, αλλά αλαζόνας Βίκινγκ με το χαρακτηριστικά ογκώδες σφυρί, εξορίζεται από τον πατέρα του Οντίν στη Γη όπου, χωρίς μνήμη του μεγαλείου του, αναγκάζεται να μάθει να ζει με τους ανθρώπους. Εκεί γνωρίζεται με μια όμορφη επιστήμονα, την οποία και ερωτεύεται παράφορα, ενώ παράλληλα, μαθαίνει να χρησιμοποιεί τις δυνάμεις του για το καλό των θνητών, ώσπου έρχεται αντιμέτωπος με τους πλέον επικίνδυνους εχθρούς που επιστρατεύουν τις σκοτεινές δυνάμεις του Άσγκαρντ για να κυριαρχήσουν στη Γη-κι όχι μόνο.
