Ετεροφυλόφιλοι κύριοι-αποφύγετε αυτήν την ταινία πάση θυσία-επακόλουθες συγκρίσεις μετά την θέασή της με τον κύριο Strait μπορεί να σας ρίξουν σε ποτό/κάπνισμα/ναρκωτικά/self-harming Στην ταινία λοιπόν ο υπερκούκλος Caleb (Steven Strait) και τρεις ακόμα νεαροί είναι οι απόγονοι των μάγων του Ipswich οι οποίοι διαθέτουν υπερφυσικές δυνάμεις. Οι δυνάμεις αυτές όμως αποτελούν ταυτόχρονα και κατάρα καθώς όσο περισσότερο τις χρησιμοποιούν οι κάτοχοί τους τόσο πιο γρήγορα γερνάνε. Ο Caleb συναντά μια καινούρια συμμαθήτρια (Laura Ramsey) την οποία ερωτεύεται όμως περίεργα πράγματα αρχίζουν να συμβαίνουν στις ζωές αυτών των εκλεκτών στα οποία μπλέκεται και ο νέος συμμαθητής τους ο μυστηριώδης Chase.
