Σε ένα δάσος κατοικούν τα μικροσκοπικά και μπλε στρουμφάκια. Η ζωή τους είναι σκέτη απόλαυση εκτός κι αν παρεμβληθεί σε αυτήν ο κακός μάγος που τα κυνηγάει. Μια ημέρα κι ενώ αυτή η «παρεμβολή» είναι σε δράση, τα στρουμφάκια πέφτουν σε δίνη κι εμφανίζονται στον δικό μας κόσμο. Για την ακρίβεια, καταμεσής του Σέντραλ Παρκ της Νέας Υόρκης. Τώρα, πρέπει να βρουν τον δρόμο της επιστροφής, πριν τα βρει πρώτος ο Δρακουμέλ.
