Έμοιαζε με την τέλεια ληστεία τραπέζης...Ήταν όντως τέλεια - αλλά ο στόχος δεν ήταν η τράπεζα...Τέσσερις άνθρωποι ντυμένοι με στολές... μπογιατζήδων μπαίνουν σε ένα υποκατάστημα της εύρωστης τράπεζας Manhattan Trust. Δεν πρόκειται όμως για μπογιατζήδες, αλλά για ληστές, οι οποίοι θα επιχειρήσουν να φέρουν εις πέρας την τέλεια ληστεία!Βασική παράμετρος του σχεδίου τους: υποχρεώνουν όλο το προσωπικό της τράπεζας, καθώς και τους πενήντα πελάτες που έτυχε να βρίσκονται μέσα στο κτίριο, να φορέσουν ίδιες στολές με εκείνους, μαζί με μάσκες και γυαλιά ηλίου.Αρχηγός της «συμμορίας» είναι ο Ντάλτον Ράσελ που κλειδώνει κάθε έξοδο της τράπεζας και, κρατώντας τους ομήρους, αρχίζει τις διαπραγματεύσεις με τον ντετέκτιβ Κιθ Φρέιζερ. Ο Φρέιζερ δεν αργεί να καταλάβει ότι τίποτα δεν είναι αυτό που φαίνεται και ότι δεν πρόκειται για μία απλή ληστεία τραπέζης.Την άποψή του δεν συμμερίζεται ο διοικητής τ...
