Η επιστροφή του Richard (Paddy Considine) στο μικρό ιρλανδέζικο χωριό απ' όπου κατάγεται δεν χαρακτηρίζεται από νόστο. Ο πρώην μισθοφόρος στρατιώτης κρύβει μέσα του οργή για μία σπείρα εμπόρων ναρκωτικών της περιοχής την οποία δε σκοπεύει να κρατήσει για πολύ στη ψυχή του. Ο τρόπος που αντιμετώπισαν το νοητικά καθυστερημένο αδερφό του είναι το έγκλημα που τον οδηγεί στην αυτοδικία. Με κρύο αίμα τους καθιστά σαφές πως τίποτα δε θα τελειώσει αν στο τέλος όλοι τους δε καταλήξουν νεκροί.
