Ο Όλιβερ και η Έμιλι είναι δύο νεαροί, δυναμικοί αλλά και διαμετρικά αντίθετοι χαρακτήρες, των οποίων η αρχική γνωριμία κατά τη διάρκεια μίας πτήσης δεν φαίνεται να... απογειώνεται ποτέ! Τα επόμενα εφτά χρόνια, εξακολουθούν να πέφτουν ο ένας πάνω στον άλλο ανάμεσα σε επαγγελματικά ταξίδια και σχέσεις που τελειώνουν... Παρότι αυτά που τους χωρίζουν είναι πιο πολλά από αυτά που τους ενώνουν, κάτι ανεξήγητο τους κρατάει μαζί: ο τρόπος που γελάνε ο τρόπος που περπατάνε μαζί, οι συζητήσεις τους και το γεγονός ότι ο ένας βρίσκεται δίπλα στον άλλο, όταν όλα φαίνονται να καταρρέουν... Πρόκειται για μία απλή φιλία; Ή για την αρχή μιας ερωτικής σχέσης που δεν θα σβήσει ποτέ; Ή μήπως για κάτι... ανάμεσα;
