Ένα σπίτι που κρύβει κάτι παραπάνω απ' ό,τι κάποιος μπορεί να φανταστεί. Η ατμόσφαιρα πυκνή και βαριά, σε συνδυασμό με τα διάφορα μεταφυσικά φαινόμενα με τα οποία έρχονται σε επαφή όσοι έχουν σχέση με το χώρο, θα κάνουν την «Κατάρα» να λάβει μορφή. Όταν κάποιος πεθάνει με φρικτό και βίαιο τρόπο, η ψυχή του φυλακίζεται και με βίαια ξεσπάσματα και παράξενο τρόπο εμφανίζεται με συγκεκριμένο σκοπό... Ο Takashi Shimizu υπογράφει το σενάριο και την σκηνοθεσία σε αυτό το horror movie, από τα πολλά ασιατικά που βρίσκουν τον δρόμο για τις αίθουσες του υπόλοιπου κόσμου, μετά από επιτυχίες όπως τα «Ringu», «The Eye» και άλλα.
