Η πόλη Τέρμιναλ των ΗΠΑ βρίσκεται σε κατάσταση εκτάκτου ανάγκης. Η ανεξέλεγκτη τρέλα, η παραφροσύνη και το χάος εξαπλώνονται δραματικά γρήγορα από άκρη σε άκρη. Όλα ξεκίνησαν όταν κάθε κινητό τηλέφωνο, ραδιοφωνικοί και τηλεοπτικοί σταθμοί άρχισαν να εκπέμπουν το ίδιο μυστηριώδες σήμα. Φανταστείτε την επίδραση που θα έχει αυτό στους ανθρώπους. Το σήμα εισβάλει στην ζωή και την καθημερινότητα των πολιτών και τους παρασύρει σε μια ψυχωτική κατάσταση με έντονα δολοφονικά ένστικτα! Άνθρωποι που καθημερινά ζούσαν κι εργαζόταν σ` αυτή την πόλη έχουν μετατραπεί σε στυγνούς δολοφόνους, αφού είναι πλέον αναγκασμένοι ή να σκοτώσουν ή να σκοτωθούν. Μέσα σ` αυτό το χάος όπου δεν μπορείς να εμπιστευτείς κανέναν, ένας άντρας παλεύει να σώσει την γυναίκα που αγαπάει και να σωθεί ο ίδιος, αφού όλοι έχουν εκτεθεί στην αναμετάδοση του ίδιου σήματος.
