Σιντεϊ Μπρίστοου εκπαιδεύτηκε ως πράκτορας της sd-6, για την οποία νόμιζε ότι ήταν κυβερνητική υπηρεσία. Παρόλα αυτά μετά την δολοφονία του αρραβωνιαστικού της από πράκτορες της SD-6 ανακαλύπτει ότι η SD-6 είναι μια υπηρεσία που δρα ενάντια της κυβέρνησης. Η Σίντνεϊ πλησιάζει την CIA και γίνεται διπλός πράκτορας, που σημαίνει ότι εκτελεί αποστολές της SD-6, μα οι πληροφορίες σχετικά με τις αποστολές μεταφέρονται στην CIA μέσω του προϊσταμένου της Vaughn.
