Ο Reeve Carney έκλεισε για ρόλο στη καινούρια σειρά του Showtime, Penny Dreadful, η οποία θα έχει οκτώ επεισόδια και θα αφορά διάφορα λογοτεχνικά πρόσωπα όπως τον Dr. Frankenstein και το τέρας του, τον Dorian Gray και τον Δράκουλα. Ο Carney θα πάρει βασικό ρόλο ως ο Dorian Grey, γνωστός από το βιβλίο του Oscar Wilde. Για ρόλο έχουν κλείσει και οι Timothy Dalton, Josh Hartnett και Eva Green. Η σειρά χαρακτηρίζεται ως ψυχοσεξουαλική φαντασίας τρόμου και αναμένεται την άνοιξη του 2014.
