Στο Bone Tomahawk βρισκόμαστε δεκαετία του 1880, κοντά στα σύνορα του Τέξας με το Μεξικό. Όταν ένας παράνομος παρασέρνει άθελα του μια συμμορία κανίβαλων τρωγλοδυτών στη φιλήσυχη πόλη του Φαρ Ουέστ, Μπράιτ Χοπ, οι κανίβαλοι απαγάγουν ντόπιους, μαζί και την πιστή σύζυγο ενός ραντσέρη. Παρά το τραυματισμένο του πόδι, ο ραντσέρης ενσωματώνεται σε απόσπασμα του σερίφη, του γηραιού βοηθού του και ενός πιστολέρο, και όλοι μαζί ξεκινούν ένα ταξίδι στην κόλαση, αναζητώντας τις άγνωστες και σκοτεινές περιοχές όπου ζουν τα άγρια αυτά θηρία.
