Βρισκόμαστε στο κοντινό μέλλον... αρχές 21ου αιώνα. Έχει προηγηθεί ο τρίτος παγκόσμιος πόλεμος που συγκλόνησε την ανθρωπότητα και την άλλαξε ριζικά. Αποφασίστηκε οτι δραστικά μέτρα έπρεπε να παρθούν για να μην ξανασυμβεί τίποτε παρόμοιο. Καταπολεμήθηκε λοιπόν, η πηγή του κακού και της συμφοράς: το ανθρώπινο συναίσθημα....
Αυτό έγινε με 3 τρόπους: 1) απόλυτη και αυστηρή αστυνόμευση των πάντων, 2) την υποχρεωτική λήψη του φαρμάκου "Πρόζιουμ" το οποίο καταστέλλει τα συναισθήματα, και 3) ένα εξελιγμένο αστυνομικό σώμα, οι Grammaton Clerics, μάστερ των απαραίτητων πολεμικών τεχνών με θανασιμότερη τεχνική τα Gun Katas!
