Ένα αταίριαστο διδυμόμπατσο στη Λουιζιάνα χτενίζει την πολιτεία για να εντοπίσει έναν κατά συρροή δολοφόνο. Εκείνος αφήνει ίχνη τελετουργικών πρακτικών στα θύματά του, αυτοί θα παλαβώσουν μέχρι να του περάσουν χειροπέδες. Ο ντετέκτιβ Μάρτιν Χαρτ έχει γυναίκα, έχει παιδιά, έχει δεύτερη και είναι τυπικός στη δουλειά του. Ο ντετέκτιβ Ραστ Κόουλ πίνει κουαλούντ με αλκοόλ για να χαλαρώσει, προτιμά το περιθώριο και γλείφει τις πληγές του παρελθόντος λύνοντας δύσκολες υποθέσεις. Βλέπετε «True Detective».
