Ο ταλαντούχος στη ρομποτική Χίρο Χαμάντα βρίσκεται στο επίκεντρο μιας εγκληματικής συνομωσίας που λαμβάνει χώρα στην υψηλής τεχνολογίας πόλη του Σαν Φρανσόκιο. Με τη βοήθεια του πιστού του ρομπότ Μπέιμαξ, ο Χίρο ενώνει τις δυνάμεις του με μια μάλλον απρόθυμη ομάδα που μάχεται για πρώτη της φορά το έγκλημα και με μόνη αποστολή το να σώσουν την πόλη.
