Μετά τον επίπονο και φονικό εξορκισμό, η Νελ βρίσκεται μόνη και τρομοκρατημένη στο δάσος. Γυρνώντας πίσω στον πολιτισμό, αντιλαμβάνεται ότι η μνήμη της είναι κενή από όλα όσα συνέβησαν τους τελευταίους μήνες, αλλά και ότι όλη η οικογένεια της είναι νεκρή. Μόλις βάζει μπρος να μπει στους ρυθμούς μιας φυσιολογικής ζωής, ο δαίμονας επιστρέφει και την καταλαμβάνει ξανά. Αυτή η φορά, όμως, είναι τόσο τρομακτικά τα σχέδια του, που αποκαλύπτεται πως η πρώτη φορά ήταν απλά ένα ξεκίνημα.
