Οταν ενα γκρουπ απο τρομοκρατες δραπετευει και σχεδιαζει να γυρισει πισω στο χρονο απο το 2077 στο 2012, η αστυνομικος Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols) τους ακολουθει. Παγιδευμενη στο Vancouver εν ετει 2012, μονη της, αγνωστη σε εναν ξενο τοπο και ανυμπορη να γυρισει πισω στο γιο και στο συζηγο της, μαζι με τους οχτω πιο αδιστακτους κακοποιους απο το μελλον, γνωστους και ως Lieber8, αποφασιζει να τους κυνηγησει προτου σπειρουν τον ολεθρο. Στην προσπαθεια της να τους σταματησει, συμμετεχει στην τοπικη αστυνομικη δυναμη, μαζι με τον ντετεκτιβ Carlos Fonnegra (Victor Webster) και λαμβανει μια αναπαντεχη βοηθεια απο εναν 17χρονο νεαρο, που ειναι ιδιοφυια στην τεχνολογια, τον Alec Sadler (Erik Knudson). Το μελλον βρισκεται στα χερια της...
