Μια δεκαετία μετά την θριαμβευτική νίκη επί του Κράκεν, ο Περσέας προσπαθεί να ζήσει μια απλή ζωή ως ψαράς σε ένα μικρό χωριό, δίπλα στον 10χρονο γιο του, Χέλιο. Την ίδια, όμως, στιγμή, μάχη ξεσπάει ανάμεσα σε θεούς και Τιτάνες για την κυριαρχία. Οι θεοί έχουν χάσει την εύνοια των ανθρώπων και δεν μπορούν να συγκρατήσουν αιχμάλωτους τους Τιτάνες, με αρχηγό τον Κρόνο, πατέρα του Δία, του Ποσειδώνα και του Άδη. Η τριανδρία είχε εκθρονίσει τον Κρόνο πριν από πολλά χρόνια και τον είχε ρίξει στα σκοτεινά Τάρταρα. Ο Περσέας δεν μπορεί να αγνοήσει τη φύση του, όταν ο Άδης κι ο Άρης αλλάζουν στρατόπεδο και προσπαθούν να συλλάβουν τον Δία.
