Τρεις αδελφές η Πρου, η Φοίβη και η Πάιπερ ανακαλύπτουν ξαφνικά πως είναι μάγισσες. Μετά το θάνατο της γιαγιάς τους απομακρύνονται αλλά τώρα είναι η ευκαιρία να σμίξουν ξανά. Μετά την συνάντησή τους στο σπίτι του Σαν Φρανσίσκο ανακαλύπτουν ότι είναι μάγισσες. Πρώτη η Φοίβη συναρπάζεται με αυτήν την ιδέα ενώ ακολουθεί η Πάιπερ και τέλος η πιο δύσπιστη Πρου. Έτσι λοιπόν με όπλο τις δυνάμεις τους αλλά και το Βιβλίο των Σκιών ξεκινούν ένα ατέρμονο ταξίδι ενάντια στο κακό. Στο τέλος της 3ης σαιζόν , ύστερα από την καταστροφική αποκάλυψη του μυστικού τους δημόσια ότι είναι μάγισσες , η Πρου σκοτώθηκε πολεμώντας ένα δαίμονα . Η Δύναμη των Τριών έσπασε οριστικά ... αλλά όχι αμετάκλητα . Σύντομα μετά την κηδεία της Πρου αποκαλύφθηκε ότι η Πάιπερ και η Φοίβη έχουν μια μικρότερη ετεροθαλή αδερφή για την οποία δε γνώριζαν τίποτα . Η Πέητζ είναι καρπός του απαγορευμένου έρωτα της μητέρας τους Πάττυ και του white lighter της Σαμ . Καθώς ήταν ανεπίτρεπτο για τις μάγισσες να συνάπτουν σχέσεις με τους "φύλακες αγγέλους" τους , η Πέητζ δόθηκε σε μοναστήρι και στη συνέχεια για υιοθεσία . Αμέσως μετά την επανένωση των 3 αδερφων , η Δύναμη των Τριών ανασυστάθηκε . Η Πέητζ ανακάλυψε όχι μόνο τη χαμένη της οικογένεια , αλλά και το πεπρωμένο της σα μια Μαγευτική . Η Πέητζ είναι μισή μάγισσα και μισή white lighter και επομένως έχει κληρονομήσει ιδιότητες και από τις δυο πλευρές . Οι 3 αδερφές συνεχίζουν τον αγώνα τους ενάντια σε δαίμονες και σώζοντας αθώους. Στον 7ο χρονο της μαγειας τους (4ος για την Πεητζ)οι αδερφες,κουρασμενες απο μαχες και σκοτωμους αγαπημενων ανθρωπων τους σκηνοθετουν τους θανατους τους. Στον 8ο χρονο τους ως μαγισσες(5ος για τη Πεητζ)οι αδελφες για να μεινουν νεκρες στα ματια του κοσμου ΄΄προσλαμβανουν΄΄ μια μαγικη βοηθο (την Μπιλυ) η οποια μαθαινει γρηγορα τη μαγεια και γινεται μια πανισχιρη μαγισσα. Οι αδελφες μη αντεχοντας να ειναι ΄΄νεκρες΄΄ με τη βοηθεια ενος πρακτορα ΄΄επαναφερονται στη ζωη΄΄. Η Μπιλυ παραμενει βοηθος των κοριτσιων και βρισκει τη χαμενη της αδερφη η οποια ειχε απαγθει απο δαιμονες. Αυτη η αδερφη τις βαζει λογια και την εναντιωνει στις αδερφες. Οι αδερφες δινουν τη μεγαλυτερη μαχη της ζωης τους. Βγαινουν νικητριες με την Μπιλυ πισω στο πλευρο τους και βρισκοντας η καθεμια τον δρομο της.
