Την τελευταία φορά που είδαμε τους Μάικ Βασόβσκι και Τζέιμς Σάλιβαν ήταν αχώριστοι και πραγματικά αγαπημένοι. Δεν ήταν όμως πάντα έτσι. Από την πρώτη στιγμή που αυτά τα δύο αταίριαστα τέρατα συναντήθηκαν στο πανεπιστήμιο δεν άντεχαν το ένα το άλλο. Με τελείως διαφορετικές μεθόδους, απόψεις και ικανότητες το μοναδικό κοινό στοιχείο τους ήταν το όνειρο για τον τίτλο του Καλύτερου Τρομαχτή. Το «Μπαμπούλες Πανεπιστημίου» μας αποκαλύπτει πώς ο Μάικ κι ο Σάλι ξεπέρασαν τις διαφορές τους κι έγιναν κολλητοί.
