Στο σημερινό Λονδίνο, η δράση ενός serial killer που είναι γνωστός με το όνομα Blitz, έχει δημιουργήσει πανικό στις Αρχές. Αποκλειστικός στόχος του είναι αστυνομικοί και παρά τα όποια μέτρα έχουν παρθεί, καταφέρνει να δρα ανενόχλητος. Εκεί όμως που τελειώνουν τα όρια του νόμου ξεκινά η δικαιοσύνη - όπως μας πληροφορεί το trailer της ταινίας. Κάτι που σημαίνει πως την υπόθεση του Blitz αναλαμβάνει προσωπικά ένας σκληροτράχηλος ντετέκτιβ ονόματι Tom Brant (Jason Statham), που είναι συνηθισμένος να σπάει στους κανόνες προκειμένου να γίνει what needs to be done. Παρόλα αυτά, η σύλληψη του δολοφόνου δεν αποδεικνύεται καθόλου εύκολη υπόθεση.
