Είναι μια πάρα πολύ καλή χιουμοριστική σειρά, σε στυλ mokcumentary όπως είναι και το The Office.
Βασική/αρχική υπόθεση: Στο τμήμα των Parks and Recreation της μικρής (φανταστικής) πόλης Pawnie (Indiana), η (deputy director) Leslie Knope κυνηγάει φιλόδοξα έργα που θα αναδείξουν πολιτισμικά την πόλη, θα βελτιώσουν την ποιότητα ζωής στο Pawnie και ιιισως βοηθήσουν και την ίδια να ανέβει πολιτικά σκαλοπάτια, αλλά δεν συμμερίζονται όλοι στο τμήμα τον ενθουσιασμό της.
