Μια νεαρή όμορφη γυναίκα λέει το μυστικό που μπορεί να νικήσει μια επικίνδυνη εξωγήινη δύναμη. Μια ταινία επιστημονικής φαντασίας με πολύ δράση, μυστήριο,και ρομαντισμό. Μέσα στον 23ο αιώνα o Korben Dallas βρίσκεται αντιμέτωπος σε μια πάλη με μια αρχαία προφειτία. Σήμφωνα με αυτή την προφειτία η γη θα καταστραφόταν απο ένα δαίμονα. Εκείνη τη στιγμή εμφανίζεται μια νεαρή γυναίκα που θα ανατρέψει κάποια δεδομένα, αφού με τη παρουσία της θα πείσει ότι μπορει να ξεδιαλύνει το μυστήριο και να αποφευχθεί η καταστροφή της γης.
