Ο πράκτορας του FBI, Σον ?ρτσερ προσπαθεί να εντοπίσει ένα βιολογικό όπλοπου έχει τοποθετήσει κάπου στο Λος ?ντζελες, ο τρομοκράτης Κάστορ Τρόι.Οι δυο τους έχουν κοινό παρελθόν, καθώς ο Τρόι είναι υπεύθυνοςγια το θάνατο του παιδιού του ?ρτσερ, ο οποίος προσπαθεί να τον συλλάβει εδώ και οχτώ χρόνια.Για να το πετύχει αυτό θα φτάσει στα άκρα. Μέσω μιας χειρουργικής επέμβασηςθα «δανειστεί» το πρόσωπο του Τρόι για να περάσει σαν μυστικός πράκτορας,όμως τα πράγματα θα γίνουν ακόμα πιο πολύπλοκα και επικίνδυναόταν ο Τρόι πάρει τη δικιά του ταυτότητα?
