O Charly Mattei, που στο παρελθόν ζούσε στην παρανομία, έχει πια γυρίσει σελίδα. Εδώ και τρία χρόνια περνάει μια ήσυχη ζωή, αφοσιωμένος στη γυναίκα του και τα δύο του παιδιά. Ένα χειμωνιάτικο πρωινό όμως τον βρίσκουν στο πάρκινγκ του παλιού λιμανιού της Μασσαλίας με είκοσι δύο σφαίρες στο σώμα του. Όλοι περίμεναν πως δεν θα τα καταφέρει, όμως αυτός δεν θα πεθάνει… Η έμπνευση για τη μυθοπλασία της ταινίας ήταν κάποια πραγματικά γεγονότα, στην καρδιά της μαφίας της Μασσαλίας.
