Ο Ντάντε είναι ένας αδύνατος οδηγός λεωφορείου, με χρυσή καρδιά. Όλα ξεκινούν μία πανέμορφη νύχτα σ΄ ένα πάρτι που ο Ντάντε βρίσκεται κατά λάθος, και κάνει απεγνωσμένες προσπάθειες να πλησιάσει κάποια όμορφη γυναίκα.Όλες όμως τον απορρίπτουν. Απογοητευμένες φεύγει από το πάρτι. Στο δρόμο παραλίγο να τον χτυπήσει αυτοκίνητο, με οδηγό την Μαρία, για γοητευτική και μυστηριώδη γυναίκα.Η Μαρία μοιάζει να τον ερωτεύεται κεραυνοβόλο. Ο Ντάντε πετάει στα ουράνια. Όμως το ίδιο ξαφνικά η Μαρία τον εγκαταλείπει και εξαφανίζεται.
